Education and case studies
Classroom content, teaching materials and case studies drawn from completed, reviewed project work.
INITIATIVE’s educational work translates project experience into material that people can study, discuss and use. The scope includes case studies, teaching notes, lesson and seminar plans, and exercises in policy analysis and institutional decision-making.
Case studies for learning
A teaching case reconstructs a question or decision using its chronology, source material and competing explanations. It shows the choices available, the limits of the evidence and the consequences of different approaches.
A case can examine a completed outcome or a defined decision point. It must be complete and reviewed as an educational publication before public release.
Classroom and course content
Materials can include learning objectives, guided readings, source packets, discussion questions, instructor notes and assessment prompts. Activities may ask learners to compare policy options, draft a proposed rule, evaluate an institutional response or examine an economic model.
The intended audience, necessary background and distinction between evidence and interpretation should be clear to instructors and learners.
Public educational materials
No INITIATIVE case studies have been approved for public release yet. Developing studies and their supporting records remain in the password-protected workspace. Public teaching editions will be prepared separately, with sensitive information reviewed before publication.
